Outgrowing Invoice Simple's monthly limits
Invoice Simple lives up to its name, and for a side business sending a few invoices a month it can be all you need. When the work picks up, here is how the plans compare and how to move your customers across, including a gap in exporting that you should know about.

Invoice Simple is quick to learn, works on iPhone, Android and the web, and offers unlimited estimates on every plan. It also lets you create statements for a client and send them by email or text.
The plans are priced by invoice count. Essentials allows up to 3 invoices a month and Plus up to 10. Unlimited invoices need Premium at US$21.99 a month. A cleaner, gardener or handyman who completes a few jobs a day quickly moves beyond the lower plans.

Move from Invoice Simple in four steps
Export your invoice summary
In Invoice Simple, open Settings and choose Export Invoice Summary under the Invoice heading. Pick a date range that covers your customers and choose CSV.
Turn it into a customer list
Open the CSV in a spreadsheet and keep one row per customer. Fill in any email addresses, phone numbers and addresses you need from the Clients tab in Invoice Simple.
Import the list
On Solo or above, save the sheet as CSV, upload it and match your columns to name, email, phone, address and postcode. Add your services and prices once, and they are one tap away.
Set up tax and your websites
Choose your country in Settings so currency and tax follow on every invoice, then connect your websites to receive new enquiries.
What stays behind, and what does not
Keep a PDF or spreadsheet copy of your past invoices from Invoice Simple for your records before you stop paying. Note that PDF summary exports cover up to two months at a time, so CSV or XLSX is quicker for a full history.
WhizInvoice does not connect to or sync with Invoice Simple, and it is not accounting software. Once you are set up, your customers, prices, quotes and invoices all live in WhizInvoice, and you can download all of it whenever you want.

Save your services first
Before your first invoice, add the services you charge for most often. On site, each one is then a single tap.
Pick a design
Choose one of the 32 invoice designs and add your logo and colours, so your invoices look familiar to returning customers.
Deposits for bigger jobs
On Solo and above, request a deposit on a quote and see it taken off the final invoice automatically.
Reminders from day one
Automatic payment reminders are on every plan, so overdue invoices are followed up without you remembering.
Good to know
Can I import my clients straight from Invoice Simple?
Not directly. Invoice Simple’s help centre does not describe a client list export, so build a customer CSV from your invoice summary and client records, then import it.
Does WhizInvoice limit invoices per month?
There is no monthly limit: every WhizInvoice plan, Free included, comes with unlimited invoices and customers.
Does WhizInvoice integrate with Invoice Simple?
No, there is no integration or sync. The move is a one time export from Invoice Simple and an import into WhizInvoice.
Can I try WhizInvoice before paying?

Will I lose my invoice history?
